This is a very different version of Jeet Kune Flow (from the album ‘The Picasso Zone’ on Browntasauras Records) that shows how these songs are launchpads for creating something in the moment that has never been done before, ending up unique every time. Ian DeSouza (bass) was on fire here, and as usual was kicking my ass to go the edge of my limits. Brownman is his typical force of nature here, riding the wave of improvisation to get us in to the ZONE. This song is inspired by the heartbeat of a groove that makes you move, with the spirit of Bruce Lee’s philosophy of Jeet Kune Do: Simplicity, Directness, and Freedom. This captures the spirit of modus factor, as we strive to always reinvent ourselves every time we play, going boldly into the future.
